Kitchens & cabinetry.
Our most requested service, and where most of our repeat business comes from.
We had three quotes for our kitchen and LEVEL's was the most detailed by far, every cabinet measured and drawn before we agreed to anything.
Aidan spent a long time understanding how we cook before drawing anything, turned out our old kitchen had the bin in the wrong place for 15 years and neither of us had noticed.
Slight delay on our worktop delivery pushed the install back a week, frustrating, but LEVEL kept us updated and didn't charge for the extra day when they came back to finish.
Staircases & structural joinery.
Often the most technically demanding work we do, and the most visible in a finished home.
Our staircase was the centrepiece of a self-build. The team talked us through three newel post designs before we settled on one, the result is exactly what we pictured.
Replacing a staircase in an occupied house is messy by nature, but they sheeted off the whole stairwell and we had usable stairs every single night during the works.
Building control flagged a regulation issue with our original stair design that the architect had missed. Calum caught it at the drawing stage, saving a costly mid-build redesign.
Restoration & period joinery.
Specialist work for older properties across Fife, often involving listed buildings and conservation areas.
Restored the original shutters and skirtings in our 1890s house after a previous joiner made a mess of them. LEVEL matched the mouldings perfectly.
Our sash windows were painted shut and rotten at the bottom rail. Rather than push for full replacement, LEVEL repaired what could be saved, and the conservation officer was happy too.
Honest from the start that one section of cornicing was beyond economical repair and would need replacing. Appreciated not being sold a full restoration we didn't need.
